The National History Academy is a 5-week residential summer program, beginning Sunday, June 23, 2019 and ending with a closing ceremony on Friday, July 26, 2019.
The cost of the five-week residential camp is $9,995 per student, inclusive of room, board, learning materials, transportation, and admission to historic sites. Full and partial scholarships are available on a need basis.
Applications will be reviewed by a committee and judged on maturity of response and understanding of the topic. Students whose applications are successful will be invited to register for the National History Academy.
Full and partial scholarships are available on a need basis. Students who would like to be considered for financial aid should indicate this on their Academy application. Academy staff will contact these families directly for financial information. Families are notified if they have received financial aid at the same time they receive notification about admission decisions.
Students who are accepted will be invited to register for the Academy. Tuition must be paid in full by May 1, 2019.
Families paying by credit card have the option to pay in full at the time of enrollment or can pay three equal installments. Alternatively, parents may pay in full at the time of registration.
Registrations submitted after April 15, 2019, require full payment at the time of enrollment.
All cancellations and requests for refunds must be made in writing to the National History Academy or emailed to Michelle Burrelli. You will receive a confirmation of your refund request within one week of receipt. Cancellations by May 15, 2019 are refundable less a $1,000 administrative fee. There are no refunds for cancellations after May 15, 2019.
