The National History Academy is a 5-week residential summer program, beginning Sunday, June 24, 2018 and ending Saturday, July 28, 2018.
The cost of the five-week residential camp is $9,995 per student, inclusive of room, board, learning materials, transportation, and admission to historic sites. Full and partial scholarships are available on a need basis.
Applications will be reviewed by a committee and judged on maturity of response and understanding of the topic. Students whose application is successful will be invited to register for the National History Academy.
The final admission deadline is April 15, 2018.
Full and partial scholarships are available on a need basis. Students who would like to be considered for a scholarship should indicate this on their Academy application and answer the questions pertaining to scholarships. Families are notified if they have received financial aid at the same time they receive notification about admission decisions.
Students who are accepted will be invited to register for the Academy. A non-refundable deposit of $995 is due at the time of registration. This deposit may be waived for scholarship students upon request. Tuition must be paid in full by May 1, 2018.
Families paying by credit card have the option to pay in full at the time of enrollment, or can pay three installments of $3,000 on February 1, March 15 and May 1. Alternatively, parents may request that the balance be automatically charged to their account on May 1, 2018.
Registrations submitted after May 1, 2018 require full payment at the time of enrollment.
All cancellations and requests for refunds must be made in writing to the National History Academy or emailed to Michelle Burrelli. You will receive a confirmation of your refund request within one week of receipt. Cancellations by April 30, 2018 are refundable less the $995 deposit. There are no refunds for cancellations after April 30, 2018.
