The National History Academy is a 5-week residential summer program, beginning Sunday, June 24, 2018 and ending Saturday, July 28, 2018.
The cost of the five-week residential camp is $9,995 per student, inclusive of room, board, learning materials, transportation, and admission to historic sites. Full and partial scholarships are available on a need basis.
Applications will be reviewed by a committee and judged on maturity of response and understanding of the topic. Students whose application is successful will be invited to register for the National History Academy.
Applications received by May 15, 2018 will be given priority.
Full and partial scholarships are available on a need basis. Students who would like to be considered for a scholarship should indicate this on their Academy application and answer the questions pertaining to scholarships. Families are notified if they have received financial aid at the same time they receive notification about admission decisions.
Students who are accepted will be invited to register for the Academy. Tuition must be paid in full by May 1, 2018.
Families paying by credit card have the option to pay in full at the time of enrollment, or can pay three equal installments on March 15, April 15 and May 15. Alternatively, parents may pay in full at the time of registration.
Registrations submitted after May 15, 2018 require full payment at the time of enrollment.
All cancellations and requests for refunds must be made in writing to the National History Academy or emailed to Michelle Burrelli. You will receive a confirmation of your refund request within one week of receipt. Cancellations by April 30, 2018 are refundable less a $1,000 administrative fee. There are no refunds for cancellations after April 30, 2018.
